Punchestown Course Facilities

Restaurants and Bars

The Punchestown course complex includes several restaurants and bars, from the formal Panoramic Restaurant to very casual self-service and pub meal options.

The Panoramic Restaurant provides excellent views of the racecourse, and offers full four-course menus with a wide choice of dishes. Especially for the days of the Punchestown Festival, it’s advisable to make early bookings. Packages are available for groups.

De Robeck Restaurant is a buffet restaurant that overlooks the parade ring. It includes its own bar and tote facilities, and – like the Panoramic Restaurant – accepts bookings.

A self-service restaurant that offers a range of hot and cold meals is situated adjacent to the parade ring.

Several bars are open during the Punchestown Festival. Among these, the La Touche Bar and the Double Bank Bar are located on the ground level of the main grandstand. The Hunt Stand Bar is located on the second level of the main grandstand, and serves hot and cold snacks. The popular Madigan’s Bar is located next to the Owners and Trainers Bar, behind the Panoramic Stand.

Punchestown course now also includes the Tote Sports Lounge, a new sports bar located on the second level of the main grandstand. The bar includes a wall of wide-screen televisions for watching televised sports events.

Corporate Facilities

Punchestown Racecourse facilities include two private suite options:

  • Chairman’s Suite: Located on the second floor of the main grandstand, the Chairman’s Suite can host up to 60 guests. It includes a private bar and a viewing terrace, and is close to tote betting facilities.
  • Panoramic Suites: Located on the top floor of the main grandstand, the Panoramic Suites each host up to 15 guests. Like the Chairman’s Suite, the Panoramic Suites each have their own bars and viewing terraces.

A variety of corporate hospitality packages are available for the Punchestown Festival. For more information or to make restaurant bookings, you can contact Punchestown Racecourse at telephone 045 897 704 or e-mail at info@punchestown.com.

Facilities for the Disabled

Punchestown Racecourse facilities for the disabled include lifts that provide access to all levels of the grandstand, reserved areas suitable for wheelchairs that overlook the parade ring, and wheelchair toilet facilities in all main blocks. A reserved car park for disabled users is also available.

Facilities for Children

Creative Kids & Co. provides a professional crèche service for children older than two years during the Punchestown Festival, from 11:30am to 6:30pm. The crèche is situated besides the main entrance building, within the parade ring enclosure area. For more information about this service, you can phone 045 875552.
